Nobody switches on thirty modules on a Monday. The factories that get this right start with the one thing costing them the most, prove it works on their own floor, and add the next piece once the first is running. Three starting points cover almost everyone.
“Material walks out and nobody knows where”
Stock on the shelf never matches stock in the register. Purchase orders go out for things already lying in the store, and the shortage is found on the shop floor rather than in the plan. Once goods receipt notes and material issues are recorded against real documents, the stock figure becomes something you can plan against instead of something you verify by walking.
“You cannot tell whether a job made money”
The quotation was priced on experience, the job was delivered, and the margin is a guess. A bill of materials turns that guess into a number before the quotation goes out; job cards then record what was actually consumed against it. The gap between the two is the answer, and it arrives while you can still do something about the next quotation.
“Billing and GST are the bottleneck”
Invoices are typed again from the sales order, HSN codes are looked up by hand, and the e-way bill is a separate errand at the end of the day. When the invoice is generated from the order it belongs to, the tax is calculated rather than maintained, and the month end stops being a reconciliation exercise.
Why the pieces are worth more together
Manufacturing is a chain, and every joint in that chain is where information goes missing. A lead becomes a quotation. A quotation becomes a confirmed sales order. That order raises purchase requisitions for what is missing, opens work orders for what has to be made, and commits the material that already exists.
Production reports back against those work orders. Quality signs off or raises a non-conformance. Dispatch cuts the challan. Accounts raises the invoice against the same order that started the whole thing, and the receipt closes it. Not one step in that sentence needs anything re-typed, because each is reading the record the previous step wrote.
That is the entire argument for an ERP over a shelf of separate tools. A stores register on its own tells you what is on the rack; the same register inside the system tells you what is on the rack, what is committed to a work order, what is on its way from a supplier, and what it all cost. The module is the same. The answer is not.

- Where should a factory start?
- With whichever problem is costing the most right now — usually stock, costing or billing. The modules share one database, so anything added later reads the data already in the system instead of needing it entered a second time.
- How many modules are there?
- Roughly thirty, across nine connected departments: CRM & Sales, Projects, Purchase, Stores & Inventory, Production, Dispatch & Installation, Service & After-Sales, Accounts, and HR & Admin.
- Is GST handled, or is it a separate job?
- It is built in. GST tax invoices, HSN codes and e-way bills are produced from the documents they belong to, and tax is calculated on the invoice rather than maintained alongside it.
- Can it run more than one unit or warehouse?
- Yes. Multiple branches and warehouses run from one platform, with data segregated per branch. Users with the right permission can still see across all of them.
- How is access controlled between departments?
- Through role-based access control. Twelve-plus predefined roles carry granular permissions, so a stores operator and an accountant see different systems even though they are reading the same database.
- Can it carry our own branding?
- Yes. Logo, colours and app name are configurable per company — the platform is multi-tenant and white-label ready.
