HVAC ERP Software — From Factory to Site to AMC
AHUs and ducting made in the factory, installed on site, and maintained for years — planned, tracked and costed in one system.
In short
HVAC ERP software connects factory, site and service for AHU, ducting and HVAC project companies: project per site, BOMs and sheet consumption for duct fabrication, dispatch in lots, installation checklists, snags and handover, then AMC contracts with preventive maintenance schedules and service tickets.
| Factory | AHU assembly and duct fabrication |
|---|---|
| Site | Installation, snags, handover |
| After handover | AMC, PM schedules, service tickets |
| Runs on | Cloud — browser and phone, nothing to install |
HVAC businesses sit between manufacturing and contracting. AHUs, fan coil units and ducting are made in the factory from sheet metal and bought-out coils, fans and motors; then they are installed on site as part of a project with its own schedule, and maintained under AMC for years after.
That means three kinds of work to coordinate: factory production, site installation and recurring service. When they live in separate tools, the site team waits for material the factory thinks it sent, and AMC visits are planned from a spreadsheet nobody updates.
What you get
Project per site
Each order becomes a project with its BOMs, purchase, production, dispatch, installation and costs.
Duct and AHU BOMs
Sheet metal, insulation, coils, fans and motors per unit, with sheet consumption recorded per job.
Production tracking
Duct fabrication and AHU assembly on job cards and production stages.
Site installation
Installation schedules, checklists, snag lists and handover per site.
AMC and PM schedules
AMC contracts with preventive maintenance schedules and visit records.
Service tickets
Breakdown complaints logged as tickets, assigned and closed with the work done.
An HVAC project through the system
- 1A hospital HVAC order is confirmed; the project is created with AHU and ducting BOMs.
- 2MRP shows the GI sheet, insulation, coils and motors to buy against stock.
- 3Ducting is fabricated and AHUs assembled on job cards; sheet consumption is recorded.
- 4Material is dispatched to site in lots with challans and e-way bills.
- 5The installation team follows the checklist, logs snags and records the handover.
- 6An AMC starts with quarterly PM visits; a breakdown call becomes a service ticket.
Sheet metal ducting: estimate, fabricate, measure
Ducting is quoted by area or weight and fabricated from GI or aluminium sheet. Recording sheet consumed per job shows whether the estimate held — the difference between a profitable job and a busy one.
Site and factory on the same record
When dispatches, installation progress and snags are recorded against the same project as production, the office can see what reached site, what is installed and what is holding up handover — without a round of phone calls.
AMC: the business after the project
HVAC systems need regular maintenance, and the company that installed them is best placed to provide it. PM schedules, visit records and service tickets per site turn AMC into planned, billable work.
Questions people ask.
What is HVAC ERP software?
ERP for HVAC manufacturers and project companies that connects factory production, site installation and AMC service in one system.
Can it manage HVAC projects at multiple sites?
Yes. Each site or order is a project with its own BOMs, dispatches, installation progress and costs.
Does it handle duct fabrication?
Yes — duct BOMs, job cards and sheet consumption per job.
Can it schedule AMC and preventive maintenance?
Yes. AMC contracts carry PM schedules, and each visit is recorded against the site.
Does it track snags before handover?
Yes. Snag lists are logged during installation and closed before the handover is recorded.
