Step by step
- 1
Open company details
Go to Masters → Company.
- 2
Basic Information
Enter Company Name (the display name), Legal Name, GSTIN, PAN and CIN.
- 3
Contact Information
Fill Address, City, State, Pincode, Phone, Email and Website, then click Save Changes at the top of the page.
- 4
Open branding
Go to Settings → Branding. Under App Identity set the Application Name (shown in the sidebar, login page and browser tab), Short Name and Footer Text.
- 5
Upload the logos
Under Logo & Images click Browse next to Company Logo to upload an image, or paste its URL. Add a Dark Mode Logo if your logo does not show on a dark sidebar, and a Favicon for the browser tab. The On the sidebar preview shows both themes.
- 6
Save
Add Support Email and Support Phone if users should contact you, and click Save Changes. Reset puts back the last saved values.
Good to know
- Uploading a logo only fills the field. It is not kept until you click Save Changes.
Common questions
Why does the GSTIN matter?
The first two digits are your state code. The GST return reports compare it with each client's or vendor's state to decide whether tax is CGST and SGST or IGST, so a wrong GSTIN puts tax under the wrong head.
What if I do not add a dark-mode logo?
The normal Company Logo is used on both themes. Add a Dark Mode Logo only if your logo cannot be seen on the dark sidebar; the preview shows both.
What size should the favicon be?
Square works best, because a wide logo cannot be read at 16 pixels. A 64×64 PNG or an .ico file both work; leave it empty to fall back to the logo.
