New template
Go to Sales → Quote Templates and click New Template. The New Quotation Template form opens.
- 2
Basic Information
Enter Code (e.g. STD), Name (e.g. Standard Quotation) and Template Type — Standard, Project or SKE (all required) — and a Description of when to use it. Leave Active switched on so it shows in the template drop-down.
- 3
Write the wording

- 4
Save
Click Create Template.
- 5
Apply it to a quotation
In Sales → Quotations → New Quotation choose the template under Apply Template. The introduction, payment, delivery and warranty terms, terms and conditions and notes are filled in, and a Template Applied message confirms it.
Common questions
Can I change the terms after applying a template?
Yes. Apply Template only copies the wording into the quotation's fields; you can edit any of them before clicking Create Quotation.
Why is my template not in the Apply Template list?
Only active templates are listed. Open the template, switch Active on and save it.
Does editing a template change old quotations?
No. The terms are copied into each quotation when the template is applied, so later edits to the template affect only quotations made after the change.
