Step by step
- 1
Open stock
Go to Stores & Inventory → Stock. The Stock Management page shows cards for Critical Stock, Low Stock, Total Items and Stock Value.
- 2
Read the list
Each row shows Item Code, Item Name, Category, UOM, Current Stock (all warehouses together), Min Stock, Rate, Stock Value and Status. Search by code, name or category.
- 3
Understand the status
Out of Stock means nothing left; Critical means below half of Min Stock; Low means below Min Stock; anything else is Normal. Min Stock comes from the item's Stock Levels tab.
- 4
Open an item
Click a row. Stock by Warehouse shows the quantity and value in each warehouse.
- 5
Read its ledger
The Stock Ledger lists Date, Type, Reference, Warehouse, In Qty, Out Qty, Balance, Rate and Remarks for every movement. Use Filter by to show one warehouse instead of All Warehouses.

Print or download
On the Stock Management page click Print Report or Download Report for a PDF of the list you are viewing.
Common questions
What moves the stock ledger?
Accepting a GRN adds stock, a material issue takes it out, and posting a stock adjustment sets it to the counted quantity. Each writes a ledger line with its reference, so every balance can be traced.
Why is an item shown as Critical?
Its total stock is below half of its Min Stock. Low means below Min Stock, and Out of Stock means none left. Set Min Stock on the item's Stock Levels tab.
Can I see stock in one warehouse only?
Yes. Open the item: Stock by Warehouse splits the quantity, and Filter by narrows the ledger to one warehouse.
